Prof de Smet was honored by giving the Kortobi lecture at the Tunesian Congress of Ophthalmology. The subject of his presentation was: robotics in ophthalmology. In his talk, he also presented the EyeRhas project. Prof de Smet is the coordinator of this project, which is developed by the researchers of the bioengineering department in Eindhoven University, the Netherlands.
